Hello, I'm Eleanor.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for positive change and personal growth. As life changes and flows, when nothing is fixed, we can feel overwhelmed.
A therapeutic relationship that is genuine, warm, and accepting can offer a powerful space for self-understanding and self-acceptance. It can support you in becoming the person you would like to be and help you to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and clarity.
Experience
I have worked and volunteered in a range of roles over the years, supporting, caring and advising different groups of people within charities, the Council, education settings and residential homes.
As a Therapist, some of the challenges that I have worked with are:
Persistent low mood, depression, anxiety
Neurodiversity - exploring identity; burnout; bullying; disability discrimination; navigating the complex special educational needs and disability (SEND) education system.
Relationship difficulties
Parenting challenges
Gender identity and sexuality
Disordered eating
Addiction
Loss and complicated grief
Long-term health conditions
Imposter syndrome and self-doubt
Financial stress and debt
Trauma
Self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
